More than A Meal

Individual Volunteers

Route Partners

Route Partners consist of businesses, church groups, service clubs, etc. This promotes teamwork and team building within your business or organization.

Other Volunteer Opportunities

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

RSVP offers volunteer opportunities for seniors to lead meaningful lives by making worthwhile contributions to non-profit and health-related groups, organizations, and agencies in their community including schools, libraries, hospitals, and government offices.

Meals on Wheels Meal Makers

Meal Makers help assemble and package the meals that are distributed every weekday to homebound seniors. This program allows us to partner with a variety of community organizations and individuals that want to give back and make a difference in our community serving seniors. Volunteers commit a few hours in the morning on a weekday to package the meals that are delivered to homebound seniors.

Welcome Center

Volunteers greet the public, answer a multi-line phone and often help with administrative work. The shifts are 4 hours; 8 am until noon or 12 – 4 pm Monday through Thursday; 8 am until noon on Friday.

Frozen Meal Donors

Frozen Meals Volunteers cook and/or package food to be used in our Frozen Meals Program. It's a great opportunity for churches, service organizations, and individuals. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity.

Special Events

Fundraising opportunities/special events are a lot of fun, whether you get involved as a participant, committee member, volunteer or as a corporate sponsor.

Pet Food Program

After realizing our seniors were sharing their Meals on Wheels hot lunch with their pets, Meals on Wheels launched the Pet Food Program in December 2014 to help seniors supplement pet food for their pets. The program provides cat and dog food twice a month to our meal recipients.

Bake A Cake

Meals on Wheels helps to celebrate the client’s special day by delivering a birthday cake along with their hot nutritious meal. The cake is baked for them by a volunteer (no frosting) and is delivered in a festive box by a Meals on Wheels driver.
